LM6172 comprises two High Speed, Low Power, Low Distortion, Voltage Feedback Amplifiers. LM6172 is unity-gain stable and provides excellent DC and AC performance. With 100MHz unity-gain bandwidth, 3000V/μs slew rate, and 50mA of output current per channel, the LM6172 offers high performance in dual amplifiers; yet it only consumes 2.3mA of supply current per channel. The IC has a wide range of working voltage and conditions and is directly compatible with a wide variety of CMOS, TTL, NMOS, and PMOS devices.
Voltage Feedback Amplifier
A voltage feedback amplifier, as the name implies, is a general purpose electronic amplifier that utilizes a closed loop configuration in which the error signal is in the form of a voltage difference. Ideally, a voltage feedback operational amplifier has high impedance inputs, resulting in zero input current, and also uses voltage feedback to maintain zero input voltage.
