LM339 is a Quad voltage Comparator designed for use in level detection, low−level sensing, and memory applications in consumer, automotive, and industrial electronic applications. The IC has a range of working conditions a wide range of working voltages and possesses direct interfacing capability with almost every PMOS, CMOS, and NMOS device. Moreover, the IC offers a wide array of features such as I/O –ve feedback protection, low production cost, and excellent thermal cycling.

Voltage Comparator

A voltage comparator can be defined as an electronic circuit that can compare two input voltages and distinguish which one of them is at a higher level of amplitude.
