LM3302 IC consists of four independent single or dual supply voltage comparators on a single monolithic substrate. These types of comparators are designed to directly interface with TTL and CMOS. The IC eliminates the requirement of external biasing parts/components in various applications. The IC is also calibrated to be used over a wide range of commercial, industrial, and military temperature ranges.
LM3302 always comes in a 14 pin hermetically sealed, dual-in-line IC packaging (DIP). The IC is designed with conformity with low-power, bandwidth, and high stability in order to operate with a single power supply over extensive operating voltage ranges.
Voltage Comparator
A voltage comparator is a simple electronic configuration, that compares two voltages at two different levels, and then switches the output to wither LOW or HIGH state with respect to a voltage that is at a higher level then the other. In other words, a voltage comparator compares the magnitude of two voltage inputs and determines which is the largest of the two. There are two main types of voltage comparators:
