LM2902 is a part of the LM290x IC series. LM2902 consists of four low-power, high gain, frequency compensated operational amplifiers. The op-amp is stable at unity gain and does not have a reverse phase in overdrive conditions. The design for ESD gives the LM2902 an HBM specification for a minimum of 2 kV. The IC is available in a 14 – pin hermetically sealed dual inline IC packaging (DIP). LM2902 is directly compatible with almost every CMOS, PMOs, and NMOS device.

Operational Amplifier

An operational amplifier is a voltage amplifying device; that is designed with the intention to be used with external feedback components such as resistors and capacitors between its I/O terminals. These feedback components determine the resulting function or “operation” of the amplifier and by virtue of the different feedback configurations whether resistive, capacitive or both.
