CD4001 is a part of the CD4XXX IC series. CD4001 is a Quad 2-input NOR Gate IC, designed by implementing the complementary MOS technology, integrated with P and N type enhancement mode transistors. This IC allows design engineers to implement positive logic OR gate operation.
What is NOR Gate ?
The NOR gate is a digital logic gate that gives logic HIGH at output if both the inputs to the gate are LOW OR if one or both the inputs are HIGH then LOW output results. NOR is the result of the negation of the OR operator.
CD4001 Key Features
