LM361 is a High-Speed Differential Comparator IC. The comparator is optimized for greater speed performance and lower input offset voltage. The IC eliminates the requirement of external biasing parts/components in various applications. The IC is also calibrated to be used over a wide range of commercial, industrial, and military temperature ranges. LM361 always comes in a 14 pin hermetically sealed, dual inline IC packaging (DIP). The IC is designed with conformity with low-power, bandwidth, and high stability in order to operate with a single power supply over extensive operating voltage ranges.
Differential Comparator
A differential comparator is a class of voltage comparators that have at least two high-gain differential-amplifier stages, followed by level shifting and buffering stages. Differential comparators are commonly used for converting a differential input to single-ended output for digital logic applications. These comparators are generally used in applications such as humidity monitoring systems, soil moisture monitoring systems, and heartbeat sensors.
