LM4250 is a programmable operational amplifier IC. LM4250 is a highly versatile monolithic operational amplifier. A single external programming resistor determines the quiescent power dissipation, input offset and bias currents, slew rate, gain-bandwidth product, and input noise characteristics of the amplifier. The IC is directly compatible with most CMOS, NMOS, and PMOS devices. LM4250 offers many different features such as short circuit protection, ESD barring, and low thermal dissipation. The IC has a wide variety of working voltages and operating conditions.

Programmable Operational Amplifier

A programmable operational amplifier is an industry standard, frequency compensated operational amplifier, whose gain can be controlled by external digital or analog signals. A programmable operational amplifier has two special features when compared with other monolithic operational amplifiers. One is the ability to externally set the bias current levels of the amplifiers, and the other is the use of PNP transistors as a differential input pair.
