Vibration Sensor Module SW-420

There are many machines and equipment which suffer damage because of vibration. Having such a situation, there is a need for some vibration sensor to check whether the machine is producing vibrations or not. Identifying this is a tricky job.

There are many types of sensors available in the market to detect such a problem by estimating the acceleration and velocity. An accelerometer is used in an earthquake detector circuit which is also high in sensitivity and also works well. But these types of sensors are expensive but for this purpose, a dedicated sensor SW-420 is available which can be interfaced with Arduino UNO

The Vibration Sensor (SW-420) is attributed by a non-directional and high sensitivity vibration sensor. When we say that the module is stable, it means that the circuit is turned on and the output of that circuit is high. Or when we say that the module is unstable it means there is some vibration/movement then it is inferred that the circuit will be disconnected and its output will be low. By saying all that, it should also be noticed that at the same time its sensitivity can also be adjusted according to our own needs. All in all, this is a perfect module for vibration or a tilt sensor.
