Here is a tutorial of a very interesting and useful DIY electronic project, A simple 24W 12V Audio Amplifier using TDA151BQ IC. Audio amplifiers are an integral part of any audio device they amplify low-power electronic audio signals with low power to a level high enough for driving headphones or loudspeakers. The best part about our project is that this circuit runs from 12V DC which means you can easily use it anywhere outdoor or indoors.
TDA151BQ is an audio amplifier IC that has many built-in features. It has two modes, BTL (bridge tied load) and stereo mode. It is high temperature protected, accidental reverse polarity protected, and has low operating voltage and low quiescent current. This IC doesn’t need any external components therefore the whole circuit can be fitted in a very small space.

Working Explanation
This IC is operating in BTL mode, in order to do that we need to give the input to the inverting input of one amplifier and non-inverting input to another amplifier. Pin 2 and 13 are the inverting inputs of this IC so we are using a 0.25uF capacitor and pin 1 is a non-inverting input so we will connect it to a reference voltage that is pin 4 to achieve BTL mode.
The output pins Pin 5 and 9 are connected to a 4 ohms loudspeaker to get the amplified sound. The minimum operating voltage of the circuit is 6V and the maximum is 18V DC. These circuits can easily be used as portable amplifiers.
