LT1079 is a micropower quad operational amplifier offered in the standard 14-pin packages. The IC has a wide variety of working voltages, a wide variety of working conditions, and directly interfaces with CMOS, NMOS, and PMOS devices. The IC offers many different features such as high noise immunity, ESD barring, and thermal overload protection.
Precision operational amplifier
Precison amplifiers, in terms of operation are similar to normal operational amplifiers. Precision op-amps have better design specifications. They are primarily used between sensors such as strain gages, ultrasonic piezoelectric transducers, and photodetectors to capture their output signals without loading the fragile transducer output. They are also widely used in automotive industry: to monitor the myriad sensors in cars and manufacturing facilities.
