The LM320 is a three-terminal negative regulator with a fixed output voltage of b5V, and up to 1.5A load current capability. The LM320 needs only one external capacitor at the output, making them easy to apply. An exceptional effort has been made to make the LM320 is immune to overload conditions. The regulator is current limiting and independent of temperature when combined with thermal overload protection.
