An Overview of the HCSR505 Sensor
HC-SR505 is a mini Passive infrared (PIR) sensor motion sensor, used for the detection of the motion of an object or a body within its range. The designers have based the device functions on infrared technology, having high sensitivity and high reliability. Due to the small size and low-power operation mode, they extensively used it in battery-powered applications.

Working Principle
HC-SR505 sensor recognizes the motions of the object by estimating the changes in the level of infrared light radiations which are radiating from objects to any object.
Interfacing
We can install this PIR sensor in any system. For this one needs to connect the power to the module to receive the response from it. We power the sensor from a DC power source We connect the device response or output to a LED or any other output components to visualize the device response. We also use the resistor for limiting the current output from the device.

Applications of HC-SR505
