Introduction

Some years back tube lights were more common in commercial places and homes. But with time, there is no doubt that in today’s world LED lights are more popular and common than tube lights. However, one cannot disavow the fact that those LED lights cannot provide smooth bright light like tube lights. This may be the reason that people like you and me still install them in our homes.

Since as we know that a tube light provides a bright light with smoothness, but what if we integrate two tube lights to make the light brighter? Obviously, it would require two fluorescent tubes, which will make the cost higher but it works great for those who want smooth light. So, in this tutorial, we are going to the “Double Tube Light Circuit Diagram”

Working Explanation

In this Double Tube Light Circuit, we are using two tube lights having 20 watts of power. Both tube lights have two filaments with four terminals. You need to connect the starter element to any one side of the tube light. And, then connect the phase line to the Ballast with the help of a switch. After that, link the other terminal of Ballast to the terminal of the first tube light and then connect tube light 2 with tube light 1 serially, see the above-given diagram. Bring neutral from tube light 2. Provide the AC supply to the circuit.

Application and Uses
