The SHT85 series is a newly designed temperature and humidity sensor from Sensations. These sensors added a new platform for reliability and improved the sensing accuracy specification compared to its predecessor. The functionality incorporates enhanced signal processing, two distinctive and user-selectable 12C addresses with a communication speed of up to 1 MHz of frequency. Moreover, the device is driven to 5.5v and is compatible in an assembly situation.
Hardware Overview
SHT85, is a cheap-cost, sensor system on a single chip. The sensor comprises a band-gap temperature sensor to measure temperature, a capacitive humidity sensor for measuring humidity in the environment, an analog-to-digital converter, data memory, measurement data processing, and also a digital communication interface.
