Hardware Overview
LM393 IC
They have used lM393 Comparator IC as a voltage comparator in this vibration sensor module. It connects IC’s pin 2 of LM393 to the potentiometer while connecting pin 3 to the vibration sensor. The comparator IC compares the set threshold voltage using the preset pin2 and the Vibration Sensor pin 3.
Trimmer pot
There is an onboard potentiometer, one can adjust the threshold sensitivity of the digital output using this trimmer pot.
Vibration Sensor
They made the sensor up of a small mechanism, which makes contact when the vibration exceeds a certain threshold. The value is set by the potentiometer.
