Introduction

In this tutorial, we are going to make a BA5406 3W Stereo Amplifier Circuit”. The BA5406 is a dual OTL monolithic power integrated circuit with two built-in high-output speaker amplifier circuits.  When VCC is 12 V and load resistance is 3, a high output of 5W*2 can be generated,  when VCC is 9V and load resistance is 3, an output of 2.8W*2 can be generated. The BA5406, which employs a high-allowed power dissipation package, features a straightforward heatsink design. The BA5417 not only outperforms fundamental specifications, but also has a soft clip circuit, thermal shutdown, and standby circuits.

Working Explanation

Connect this BA5406 Amplifier Stereo circuit to a 12V power supply. Then, we provide audio signals to both the left and right inputs to have access to BA5406 pins 5 and 8. To prevent DC interference in the circuit, there are capacitors C1 and C2 pass the coupling signal. We configured this IC to be a NON-inverting implode not affect effect on the phase output or input. Both output signals are routed to IC pins 2 and 11. And each channel’s left and right sound output signal is sent to capacitors C9 and C10 in order to prevent DC and maintain low-frequency stability.

The final signals are then sent to both speakers. Capacitors C7 and C8 are there at pins 3 and 10, respectively. Both pins are BootStrap to aid in gaining. Capacitors C5 and C6 are there at pins 6 and 7, which helps to filter out the noise.

Application Uses

  • They are ideal for the usage of music in a private setting.
  • You can use it in any small music audio experiment.
