Introduction

One difficulty that is regularly by beginner students of electronics is the to set different voltages at different points of the circuit or device. Since not all the levels need the same voltage. Besides, the obstacle becomes extra when the circuits are smaller and when we are working on smaller voltages. Thus, we cannot doubt that it’s hard to increase the voltages from a lower voltage to a voltage that is not that much higher. As for the beginner student, it’s the real issue. Since we always try to come up with circuits that may help the beginner. This circuit is not difficult to make and requires fewer and more affordable components. So, in this tutorial, we are going to Make a “1.5v to 3.3v converter”

Working Explanation

In this circuit of 1.5v to 3.3v converter, the supply is given at the input pin 6 of an IC. The capacitor C1 is there as the filtering capacitor. The EN pin 3 is the enable pin used to enable or disable the device and is hence connected with pin 6 of an IC. Connect the inductor from the input voltage to the switch node pin 1. Pin 4 is the feedback pin, the resistor divider is connected to this pin to provide output voltage regulation. the output is taken at pin 5 of an IC.

Application and Uses

  • It can be used in any circuits that need the conversion of a lower voltage into a higher voltage.
