How to generate Super Mario Theme Song by using Arduino Microcontroller

Learning electronics not only can be enjoyable but it is sincerely pretty easy. I used to be one of these wonderings I would in no way be in a position to do “this” or “that” but in the end, it just took me one afternoon and some motivation to apprehend the basics.

So today in this project I am going to show you step by step how to generate Super Mario Theme Song by using Arduino. Watch this video for a better understanding.

Hardware Components

S.NOComponentsValueQty
1.Arduino Uno Rev31
2.USB 2.0 Cable Type A/B1
3.Jumper wires1
4.Breadboard1
5.Transistor NPNBC5471
6.Speaker 8 ohms1

You may need the datasheet and pin configuration diagram of bc547 transistor

Follow all steps carefully from the video tutorial at the beginning of this post (Highly Recommended).

Working Explanation

NPN Transistor is used to amplify the output frequency generated by Arduino.

Code

Arduino Mario Bros Tunes
  With Piezo Buzzer and PWM

Connect the positive side of the Buzzer to pin 3,
then the negative side to a 1k ohm resistor. Connect
the other side of the 1 k ohm resistor to
  ground(GND) pin on the Arduino.
