LM139 Low Power Low Offset Voltage Quad Comparator – Datasheet

LM139 series consists of four independent precision voltage comparators with an offset voltage specification as low as 2 mV max for all four comparators. The IC has a wide range of working conditions a wide range of working voltages and possesses direct interfacing capability with almost every PMOS, CMOS, and NMOS device. Moreover, the IC offers a wide array of features such as high noise immunity, ESD barring/reduction, and exceptionally low power dissipation.

Voltage Comparator

A voltage comparator is a simple electronic configuration, that compares two voltages at two different levels, and then switches the output to wither LOW or HIGH state with respect to a voltage that is at a higher level then the other. In other words, a voltage comparator compares the magnitude of two voltage inputs and determines which is the largest of the two. There are two main types of voltage comparators:

  1. Non inverting Comparators
  2. Inverting Comparators
