CD4082 is a Dual 4-input AND gate. CD4082 belongs to the family of the CD4000 IC series. The outputs are fully buffered for the highest noise immunity and pattern insensitivity to output impedance variations. The IC offers many features such as ESD protection and low thermal dissipation. CD4082 is always available in a 14-pin hermetically sealed dual in line (DIP) package. The output of the IC always comes in TTL, allowing it to be easily interfaceable with devices such as MCUs and MPUs.
What is AND Gate?
An AND gate is a digital logic gate most commonly used in DLD design and logic switching applications. An AND gate will yield a Logical HIGH if any one of its input are high. If even a single input to the gate goes to LOW, the gate output will be LOW.
