In this tutorial, we are going to demonstrate an Automatic Solar Rechargeable Light Circuit. Basically, Automatic solar rechargeable light is a lighting system composed of a LED, solar panels, rechargeable battery, transistor, diode, and resistor. However, The LED works on electricity from batteries, charged through the solar panel. This automatic solar rechargeable light can likewise replace other light sources like torches or other lamps. Solar LEDs have a lower operating cost than other lamps because renewable power source from the sun is free, not normal for fuel.

Likewise, solar LEDs produce no indoor air contamination like kerosene lamps. However, solar LEDs generally have a higher initial cost and are weather dependent.

Useful Steps

Step# 01

In the first step, connect the 10K resistor with the solar.

Step# 02

Then, connect the transistor with the other end of the resistor.

Step# 03

Then, connect one end of the diode with a transistor and another end with solar.

Step# 04

Now, connect one end of LED with a transistor and another end with solar.

Step# 05

In the last step, connect a 3.7V rechargeable battery and the circuit is complete.

Working Explanation

In this section, we are discussing the circuit operation of the Automatic Solar Rechargeable Light circuit in detail. However, this circuit requires some low-cost basic components that are available easily in any electronics shop. LED lights are used because of their high radiant performance and long life. Under the control of a DC charge controller, non-contact control consequently switches on the light at night and turns it off during the daytime. Therefore, it sometimes connects with time controllers to set some time for it to automatically turn lights on and off.

Applications and Uses

The applications and uses of automatic solar rechargeable light circuits are:

  • These lights give an advantageous and cost-effectively way to light streets at night for foot-traveler and drivers.
  • In rural areas, Solar lights, also called solar lanterns, utilizing either LEDs or CFLs, are being utilized to supplant kerosene lamps, candles, and other modest options of lighting.
