Table lamps are very useful and present in everyone’s house these days. People use them for reading and studying purposes. In this DIY tutorial, we will describe the circuit of an LED-based table or reading lamp using resistors and LEDs.
This lamp can be operated at a very low voltage which will be provided by a 4.5 V DC battery. This LED lamp is very economical and can easily be made at home without requiring any professional skills.

Working Explanation:
In this circuit, we used 20 bright LEDs and 20 resistors of 20 ohms. From the circuit, it is easily visible that we connected 20 LEDs in a parallel circuit. We used 3 cells of 1.5 V for this circuit will work on a power supply of 4.5 V. Each LED is connected to a 20 Ohm resistor.
Applications and Uses:
- It can be used as a Bedside lamp and table lamp.
- It can also be used as a keyboard lamp to view the keys of the keyboard.
- It can also be used as an emergency lamp in the absence of an AC power supply.
