74LS32 Quad 2 – Input OR Logic Gate IC – Datasheet

The 74LS32 IC package contains four independent positive logic 2-input OR Gates. It is the part of 74XXYY IC series. The 74LS32 IC has a wide range of working voltage, a wide range of working conditions, and directly interfaces with CMOS, NMOS, and TTL. The output of the IC always comes in TTL which makes it easy to work with other TTL devices and microcontrollers. The IC 74LS32 is smaller in size and it has a much faster speed which makes it reliable in every kind of device.

What is an OR Gate?

An OR gate consists of one or more inputs, but with only a single output. The output of an OR gate is true (or 1) if at least one of the inputs is true or 1. In other words, unless all inputs are 0, the output of the OR gate is always 1. An OR gate functions complementary to an AND gate, with the latter finding the minimum of the binary inputs and the former finding the maximum between the binary inputs.
