The 74LS283 4-Bit Binary full adders perform the addition of two 4-bit binary words. The sum of the outputs is provided for each bit and the resultant carry (C4) is obtained from the fourth bit. These adders feature full internal look-ahead across all four bits generating the carry term in ten nanoseconds. The 74LS283 IC has a wide range of working voltage, a wide range of working conditions, and directly interfaces with CMOS, NMOS, and TTL components. The IC 74LS283 is smaller in size and it has a much faster speed which makes it reliable in every kind of device.
