Introduction
The Stepper motor is a widely used motor in electromechanical devices and circuits, it has a rotor of a permanent magnet that is surrounded by the stator that is wounded through a magnetic coil. To control the movement of the rotor, they arranged the stator near the rotor to provide the magnetic fields. It also has a brushless synchronous motor that divides the whole rotation into several number steps. The step size is determined by the no of teeth and phases on the rotor. if we examine the two-faced step motor, it contains 4 phases and 50 teeth, so it brings 50×4=200 steps per rotation with an angle of 1.8° per step. Now, in this tutorial, we are going to “555 Timer Stepper Motor Controller Circuit”

Stepper Motor Controller Circuit
Working Explanation
There are two stages of the 555 Timer Stepper Motor. In the first stage, there is a timer IC that is working as an astable multivibrator and generates a square pulse depending on the values of the timing resistor and timing capacitor. In the second stage, there is a decade counter Integrated circuit CD4017. This counts the square pulses that are coming from the timer IC and gives stepping pulse output through four transistors output pins that are wired in the circuit. We provide all pulses to the coil of the stepper motor through switching transistors.
Application and Uses
