Introduction

It’s an era of computers and mobile phones and we can say that the people of this world are so addicted to these devices that living without them seems impossible. And, studies have already shown that there is vast majority of the population in this world that first checks their phones after waking up. Thus, we all know how important these phones are to us. But, these phones have no use without chargers. Hence, mobile phone chargers also play a crucial role in our lives. So, we have made a 3 Ampere Mobile Charger Circuit for this tutorial.

Useful Steps

  • Place the components like IC, diode, capacitors, and toroid on your board.
  • Place the USB connecter for the connection of the output device.
  • Place the connector for the input supply. Here we have also replaced the capacitor. Use the capacitors that are given in the circuit diagram.
  • Solder the components. Follow the circuit diagram
  • Also, use the heat sink to make your project out of any danger.
  • Connect the input supply and the device to see if the circuit working.

Working Explanation

The 3 Ampere Mobile Charger Circuit uses the LM2576 voltage regulator IC. This IC accepts the battery voltage and regulates it to 5 volts. The regulator works against the voltage fluctuations that may happen because of the battery connected to the circuit. Then it provides the 5V voltage to the USB port where the mobile phone is already connected. Hence the charging gets started. Before connecting the device check through the multimeter that the circuit is providing 5V.

Applications

This circuit is particularly for charging mobile phones but you may also utilize it in other electronic gadgets.
